Shoppers in regional Victoria were in for a shock when chaos erupted at a major center, with a total of 15 individuals engaging in a brawl on Thursday afternoon.
The intense scene unfolded at the Mid Valley Shopping Centre in the town of Gippsland, where police quickly intervened, responding to reports of the altercation just before 2:30 pm. Multiple weapons were confiscated during the altercation.
Following the scuffle, which prompted emergency calls to Triple-zero, six police cars rushed to the scene. Fortunately, only one person required hospitalization due to non-life-threatening injuries sustained during the incident.
A police spokesperson stated, “Police have confiscated several weapons believed to have been involved in the altercation. One individual involved has been taken to the hospital for treatment.” Thankfully, there were no further reports of injuries resulting from the altercation.
