Ever since the late ’90s, the compelling “Fallout” video games have captivated players worldwide, setting the stage for Amazon’s new live-action interpretation. Viewers can dive into the post-apocalyptic wasteland from the games when the series begins streaming on Prime Video from April 12.

Bethesda Softworks acquired the rights to the franchise from Interplay for $5.75 million in 2007, distributing four games since then that have collectively sold over 45.4 million copies.
