The Forza Horizon franchise, known for its thrilling racing experiences, has for a long time been a cherished treasure for Xbox and PC gamers. This exciting update will feature a selection of popular limited-time Evolving World accolades, although Playground Games, the developer, has yet to disclose further specifics about what fans can expect.
Since its launch in November 2021, Forza Horizon 5 marks yet another former Xbox exclusive bridging the gap to other consoles. By venturing into PlayStation territory, the game seeks to tap into a broader audience, potentially invigorating its sales long after the usual post-launch lull. Following a similar path, the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is poised to transition from an Xbox exclusive, which debuted in December, to PlayStation in the upcoming spring. Moreover, a variety of other titles previously confined to Microsoft have begun to emerge, with games like Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, and Grounded entering the cross-platform realm.
